With the launch of Apple Tablet iPad, a lot of people gave their reviews and thoughts about iPad’s looks, features and specs. According to the initial reviews of iPad, people are disappointed with the new Apple iPad. Why? Here are some iPad reviews and complaints made by people who have seen the Apple iPad since they were live-blogging the Apple event while Steve Jobs is having a demo on the new Apple iPad.
So why are they saying that the iPad is a huge disappointment? The new Apple iPad does not fulfill the promise of being better than a smartphone and laptop. A lot of user reviews say that the Apple iPad Tablet is merely a huge Apple iTouch or Apple iPhone. There’s not a big difference in the features between iPhone or iTouch as compared with this new Apple Tablet iPad. A second iPad review is that the Apple iPad does not have a built in camera so it cannot be used for video conferencing and video chats.
In another Apple iPad review, some of the basic apps Apple built for the iPhone seem poorly optimized for the new screen size of the Apple iPad. For example, single Apple iPhone apps display on the iPad—one mode isolates them in the center of a dark screen, almost comically isolated; another mode apparently called “pixel double” blows them up to full screen, which works well for games, but text-heavy apps like Facebook look silly in thenew Apple iPad.
Another iPad reviews that makes the Apple iPad a big disappointment is that it does not have multitasking at all. All this power and very little you can do with it at once. No multitasking means no streaming Pandora when you’re working in Pages. It’s a real setback for this Apple iPad device.
Furthermore, aside from the fact that the Apple iPad does not have a camera, another user disappointment review is that its keyboard is not as responsive as it looked in the Apple iPad demos.
In addition to those iPad reviews above, another major setback of this Apple iPad according to some reviews that leads to disappointments is that it does not have Flash program. Sorry guys but you cannot play flash games and other flash applications in thisnew Apple iPad.
When it comes to its specs and features, some users were also disappointed based on the reviews that others did in this new Apple iPad Tablet. The Apple iPad just have up to 16GB of flash memory. If you write to it too often, it stops working. Aside from this, the Apple iPad Tablet does not have a USB port and a memory card reader which leads to another iPad disappointment according to some iPad reviews.
Looking at the positive reviews, probably one of the best features of this Apple iPad Tablet is the so-called iBooks, the e-book reading software that knocks Amazon’s Kindle and Sony’s Reader into a cocked hat. Because of this iBooks software, novels are beautifully presented, lined up on a virtual bookshelf, and complete with sleeve art.
Aside from iBooks, downloading books is incredibly easy too, with the iBookstore built straight in to iTunes, and a wide selection of books from five major publishers already available at launch.
These were just some of the iPad reviews. There will be more Apple iPad reviews to come from users as this iPad becomes available in retail stores. So, in your view, is the iPad really a disappointment?
