Put Recorded TV Shows to iPad
You can watch a recorded TV show on the iPad as long as you have the video file in one of the iPad Video Formats. The iPad supports H.264 and MPEG-4 encoded files with one of the following file extensions: M4V, MP4 and MOV. You will need the Apple iTunes software to transfer recorded tv shows to iPad. Step 2: Connect iPad to Computer
Connect the iPad to your computer via the Apple USB cable. Wait for iTunes to detect your device. Select the iPad label from the left column of the iTunes window under the "Devices" panel. Go to the "Movies" tab, and check the box for the TV show or programs you want to sync. Alternatively, you can choose to sync all videos by choosing the appropriate option.

Click the "Apply" button at the bottom right corner of the window. It will begin to backup and transfer recorded tv shows to iPad. It may take several minutes to sync as some video files can be quite large.
