How to Add 3G to iPad?
Add a 3G data plan from your mobile carrier to your Apple iPad and enjoy "always on" Internet wherever your network service is available. Apple sells the iPad in two models - one comes with only a Wi-Fi adapter, and the other has both a Wi-Fi adapter and 3G capabilities. If you don't purchase the latter, you won't be able to use 3G on the iPad. Purchase the Wi-Fi + 3G model, even if you don't intend to immediately activate a 3G service plan.
After adding 3G to iPad, you can easily view the websites at will, and you can Get YouTube Videos on iPad or Upload Videos to YouTube from iPad for enjoyment.
Connect iPad to 3G Tutorial
Purchase an iPad that includes Wi-Fi + 3G online or from an authorized Apple retailer if you don't already have this phone. An iPad equipped with only a Wi-Fi adapter can't be modified to accommodate 3G.
Step 1: Tap "Settings" -> "Cellular Data" -> "View Account". The Cellular Data Account management window loads. Enter information or select an option and tap "Next" when you are finished.

There are four options, including User Information, Login Information, Recurring Domestic Plan Options, Payment & Billing Information.
Step 2: The Terms of Service agreement loads. Take a minute to read this agreement. Tap "Agree" to continue. The Payment Summary loads. This shows you a summary of the account and plan you have selected.
Step 3: Tap "Submit" to complete the creation of your Cellular Data account. The Congratulations screen loads. This lets you know that your account has been created, and that AT&T is activating your iPad. Tap "OK" to finish and return to the Settings screen of your iPad Wi-Fi.
Your iPad will notify you when your Cellular Data connection has been activated. It's OK to connect iPad to 3G.
