US Open Bans iPads
Just a week ago, we reported on the US Open's cool new app that lets you watch all the matches and get up-to-the-minute scores on your iPad. But we've found there's one little problem, you're not allowed to take your iPad to the actual matches. Ban iPad coming.

Visitors to Arthur Ashe Stadium for the US Open tennis matches have gotten a nasty surprise, they can't take their iPads inside. Even more surprising was the reason a security worker gave for the ban iPad: "They're using iPads to detonate things."? Huh? Then why are they allowed on planes?
No official statement on this policy has come from US Open officials. Still allowed are iPhones, and there's even an app that helps you find the quickest bathroom lines. Maybe US Open security thinks they're too small to "detonate things."
