iPad Firmware Download

Apple releases updates for your iPad firmware download at certain time intervals. So whenever an update is released, how can you update the iPad software to the latest Firmware? Here is how to update your iPad software to the latest firmware.

iPad Firmware Download and Update

  • First you should have the latest version of iTunes installed in your system. Download iTunes Latest Version;
  • Connect your iPad with the PC; If iTunes doesn't open up automatically, open it yourself.
  • Select "iPad" from the left pane. Under the "Summary" tab, click on the "Check for Updates" button.
  • Now proceed and update your iPad software.

In case you are using Safari to download iPad firmware, you need to disable the auto unzip feature. It will probably be more comfortable to use Firefox to get the iPad firmware download.

  • Connect your tablet to the PC and launch iTunes. You will see this message:

Now select Download and Install button, and you should be able to get the iPad firmware download for your iPad.
