Want to transfer music from iPad to Computer?
Have you got music on your iPad that you don't have on your computer? Maybe you've lost a hard drive(or an entire computer), or your computer is crashed, or you've accidently deleted just a little too much, and for one reason or another, you don't have the original source of the music and movie. Step 1: Connect iPad to Computer
Connect the iPad to your computer. If iTunes starts syncing (IE erasing) your music automatically, hit the X in the upper right hand corner of iTunes display, to the left of the search box, to stop it.

Step 2: Select Music to Transfer
In Control Panel, Portable Media Devices, double-click your iPad. Navigate to the Music folder. Select and mark the music you want to transfer, then click "Export" button.

Step 3: Transfer Music from iPad to Computer
After you clicking the Export button, the following window will pop up, you can choose transferring to computer or iTunes directly. Here we will select "Export to Disk Only" option for transferring music from iPad to computer.

And you're done! The iPad music folder structure is strange and inexplicable, but once you move your files into iTunes you can set it to automatically organize your folder by artist and album to clean that up. (To do this, in iTunes Edit menu, choose Preferences and in the Advanced tab, check "Keep iTunes Music Folder organized.")
